Survival Guide is an artistic endeavor featuring California vocalist and keyboardist Emily Whitehurst (previously of punk legends Tsunami Bomb). Her music falls somewhere between indie rock and electronic, always with descriptive, storytelling lyrics, strong vocals and a sprinkle of pop. After supporting Joan Jett, performing at First City Festival 2014 (Beck, The National, Phantogram) and recording a freshman full-length album, Survival Guide was named one of the Top 12 Bay Area Bands of 2014 by San Francisco’s premier rock radio station, Live 105. The new album (May 2015), entitled “Way to Go”, conjures feelings of a dark modern fairytale and showcases Whitehurst’s vocal range and talent, following two previously released 7″ vinyl singles, “Hot Lather Machine” and “Wildcat”, released on San Francisco’s Side With Us Records.

Lungs and Limbs are an alt-pop band that write and record out of a horse stable in the woods north of San Francisco.
?
Known for their thick, hip-hop-and-80’s-inspired beats, cowboy guitar licks and hook-laden vocals, Lungs and Limbs are a rising sound in the Bay Area. Their debut EP Lifelike (2015) received positive press from critics in the Bay Area, Boston, LA, Germany and beyond. Their follow-up EP, BIG BANG, was released Dec 2016 and the band is currently touring to support the release.

The Old Souls Revival
https://m.facebook.com/oldsoulsrevival/
Old Souls Revival is essential indie Southern rock that proves that St. Louis is just as much a country city as it a rock city. Over the course of four years, two full length albums and a live split album, the barstool prophet words of Neil C. Luke, the intricate guitar stylings of Pete Somerville and the jazz punk drumming of Jeremy Reidy have provided the backbone for the group, along with the recent additions of guitarist Josiah Joyce and bassist Daniel Ficocelli. In taking no time in establishing themselves as one of the premier bands in St. Louis through hard work and determination, the band has earned the respect of many who they have shared a bill with. Formed in Edwardsville in 2012 with a craft perfected by many five hours sets in dive bars playing anything and everything they could think of, Old Souls Revival is a band that has taken lessons from music’s past and has synthesized it into something wholly new yet familiar with songs coming across like a ride towards some distant sunset.
